Leonard Pasquini Enjoys Retirement After
38 Years of Service in the Nuclear Industry
Leonard (Len) a NE graduate with an MS in 1974, retired after 38 years
in the Nuclear Industry. Len started his career in the Naval Nuclear Submarine
service in 1966. He worked for the Atomic Energy Commission and its successor
agencies until 1981. He then joined private industry working for the United
Nuclear Corporation as its President until 1993. His last corporate endeavor
was Owner and Executive Vice President of Los Alamos Technical Associates
(LATA). Before retiring in January 2004, Len spent one year at the Los Alamos
National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico as the Deputy General Manager
and Director of Operations for the Laboratory's Site Support Service Contractor
(KSL-Kellog Brown and Root, the Shaw Group, and LATA.)
Len started his own
consulting company upon retiring and is also a Professor of Graduate Studies
in Project Management for the Keller Graduate School of Management in Denver,
CO.
Len contributes much of his career success to the faculty and staff at
Penn State and the Nuclear Engineering Department for preparing him for a
life time of job satisfaction in the Nuclear Industry.
Len and his wife
Mary have 3 children and 4 grandchildren to enjoy during retirement.
