Industry Project Request Form

Please use this form to submit projects for senior design teams in Electrical, Computer Science, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at Penn State. Non-profit organizations should submit projects through the EPICS program website (Engineering Projects in Community Service)

In order to be guaranteed consideration for the Fall 2004 semester, submission must be received by August 15, 2004. The Project Kickoff will be held on 2 September 2004 at the Nittany Lion Inn.

Budget: A donation of $1800 is requested for a project team. Additional groups working on the same project cost $900 per team. Because this is a tax-deductible charitable contribution, no guarantees can be made on project outcomes, other than "Best Effort". Students are provided a working budget of $600 to cover direct expenses. The remainder covers overhead expenses of the Learning Factory (supplies, equipment replacement, teaching assistant wages, etc.). Additional funds may be required from the sponsor for specialized equipment, other unique project expenses, or for intellectual property ownership rights.
