Project Objective

Jordan is a four-year old child who was born with Apert Syndrome.  One characterization of this syndrome is webbed fingers.  Our objective was to design and build a lightweight device that would allow increased function of Jordan’s hands.  The device was to be waterproof, easy to clean, and comfortable.  With the use of our device,  Jordan should be able to     use her thumb and forefinger to grasp small items such as crayons and pens.  The device should also allow her to have an easier time dressing herself.
