Concept Design: Deluxe-Wheeled Walker

Magazines are published that contain devices for children and adults with special needs. Baby K’s parents showed our team some magazines of device designs that would fit Baby K well. These devices could not be previously purchased, because they did not come in Baby K’s size. From these magazines and from the parents recommendations, team Dynamic Movements decided to use the deluxe-wheeled walker as the concept design

The deluxe-wheeled walker concept was proposed by Baby K's parents. The family's acquired knowledge of Baby K's condition and needs were critical in determining a concept design. The wheeled walker is too large for Baby K's dimensions. However, the device concept proved to be the best all-around. The device is designed for comfort. It encourages upright walking with minimal support. With additions and modifications to this concept, it would adjust to Baby K's dimensions and provide easy maneuvering indoors and outdoors.
