EES will be used throughout the course as an aid for solving equations, plotting trends, etc. Students should become familiar with either EES or some similar mathematical equation solving program (Mathcad, Matlab, etc.).
EES is installed on the MNE PCStudio computers in Reber Building.
To get an account on these computers, fill out a form outside of room 224 Reber.
Your own personal copy of EES can be downloaded for free from Penn State's Angel website .
Note: Do not attempt to use the EES installation that comes with the textbook DVD - it does not work on newer computer operating systems. Instead, download EES from Angel.
Useful_tips_for_copying_EES_to_Word_and_Excel.pdf - This is a pdf file with instructions on how to copy table data and plots from EES into Excel or Word.
