Support our Mission

Our students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering are World-Class Engineers in the making--but it takes a lot of hard work, to get them there. The Department makes it its mission to provide students with extraordinary opportunities, such as study abroad and other global experiences, research opportunities, and student societies.

It is a testament to Penn State's excellence that students gain such rich experiences here, and the Department wants to see that tradition of excellence continue. But many of these experiences are cost-prohibitive to the students and, increasingly, our budgets are strained. Private support from our generous alumni and friends is more crucial than ever to the next generations of Penn State mechanical engineers.
