Semester Abroad

Spend a semester overseas for the same tuition price you are paying at Penn State! Programs listed below show curriculum plans for a sixth semester abroad. Courses are offered in English and satisfy degree requirements so you can still graduate on time.

Program Locations

École Centrale Paris

An engineering university, École Centrale Paris is situated in a suburb about a half-hour south of Paris.

Though classes are taught in English, the equivalent of 2 years of high school or one semester of university-level French instruction is recommended before enrolling. You may elect to participate in a 2- or 3-week intensive French program at the Vichy Institute prior to the start of classes.

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology is located in southwest Germany near the Black Forest and the border of France.

Though some classes are taught in English, the equivalent of 2 years of high school or one semester of university-level German instruction is recommended before enrolling. You will also enroll in an appropriate level German language course while at KIT.
